In this session, we assess the sound quality of your master, add metadata, and deliver the necessary file formats for distribution and promotion.
Once we know the sonic qualities of your master, we know how to mix your songs to achieve your master.
Now we know how to mix your songs. We will utilise the best recording techniques to capture your sound.
We work on a project basis, so scheduling your project is imperative.
Typically, we will book your recording sessions by instrument. We will start with drums, then bass and guitars, ending with your vocal recording.
Then, we move into the Mixing and Mastering stages of your project.
You want your music to be heard and make an impact.
It is tough to break through the noise in the music industry because it is very saturated. We work with you to ensure your music release cuts through the noise.
Our release strategies include the best way to release and market your music tailored to your objectives and goals.
You will learn how to look at your release from a holistic approach to maximise exposure and engage fans, new and old.
OUR PROCESS
We record drums using the techniques identified in pre-production.
All band members are invited to the studio to help guide the drum takes for this session.
Then, we edit to ensure a tight sound.
Using the recording techniques identified in pre-production, Bass and Guitars are recorded to the drums previously recorded.
Drums are edited before the session to save time editing the Bass and Guitars.
The edited Drums, Bass and Guitars create a tight sound for the vocalist to follow.
We will record lead lines, doubles, harmonies, backing vocals and screams where needed.
After the recording process is complete, we move into the mixing stage.
Using the mixing techniques identified in pre-production, we give you an initial mix to review and make amendments.
We use software that lets you make notes directly on the timeline of a song.
Making it easy for us to know where and what amendments you want us to make.
We offer unlimited revisions for the mixing stage to ensure your songs encapsulate your sound for your single, EP or Album.
OUR PROCESS
Once you have signed off on the mix, we will master your songs. We will use the mastering techniques identified in pre-production to generate your initial master.
We use software that lets you make notes directly on the timeline of a song.
Making it easy for us to know where and what amendments you want us to make.
We offer three revisions for the mastering stage. Why? Because any more revisions will mean a problem with the mix. Working like this we ensure your songs encapsulate the overall vision for your single, EP or Album.
